Modest American industrial shop building with a flag in late afternoon light

About the shop

A family panel shop, built on the trade.

JDM Industrial Control Panels, LLC is just getting started as a company — and it is not starting from zero. Our founder has been an electrician since 2001, and over those years the work pulled steadily toward controls and retrofit projects: the panels that have to be right the first time because a plant, a pump station, or a production line is waiting on them.

That is the culture of this shop. Extreme attention to detail. Accuracy over speed, then speed without sacrificing accuracy. We are small and family-owned on purpose. You will talk to the people who actually put the wire in the duct, not a project coordinator three states away.

The shop still builds and rebuilds custom control panels, pump panels, VFD panels, motor starters, and MCC buckets. What changed is the rest of the job. We now have licensed professional engineering and design resources, so we can produce the drawings — not only build someone else’s. We write Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLC programs. And we will go to the site for field installation and startup. There is still no standard price list. We quote the job in front of us.

What “accurate” means here

  • The layout matches the drawing — not a field interpretation of it.
  • Every conductor is terminated, labeled, and dressed so the next tech can service it.
  • We say no when a date or a spec is a bad fit, instead of promising and missing.
  • Rebuilds get the same standard as new steel. The door may be old; the work is not.
